Recognition and Memorial Gifts
You can celebrate, honor, or memorialize a loved one by making a gift to the Interlochen Annual Fund or the IPR Annual Fund either online or by mail. You can also make a recognition gift through Interlochen's Buy-a-Brick program, naming a chair in Kresge auditorium, or supporting the annual Camp and Academy Memorial Scholarship. All provide giving options that personalize a donor's desire to support Interlochen's mission.
Through the Interlochen Buy-a-Brick program, you can honor a special person in your life–such as a loved one, relative, friend, or teacher–by making a targeted gift. In recognition of your gift, Interlochen will have a brick inscribed and placed on campus.
Based on space availability, inscribed bricks may be placed in the existing walkways of the John and Mary Melvin and Family Arts Commons area near the Creative Writing House and Harvey Theatre, outside Apollo Hall, and on the walkway to the Osterlin Mall gazebo.
Bricks are available in two sizes: 4" x 8" brick for a $500 gift; 8" x 8" brick for a $1,000 gift.

In recognition of a designated gift of $500, we will place a plaque on the inside back of a chair in Kresge auditorium. You can specify a name or message of up to 40 characters (including spaces) to inscribe on the plaque.

You can also recognize or memorialize a special person in your life by making a gift of any amount to fund the annual Camp and Academy Memorial Scholarship. Your gift will be pooled with other tribute gifts so that, each year, an Interdisciplinary Arts student in the Academy and a junior Camp student will receive this scholarship. You will receive a copy of the letter that each scholarship recipient has written.
Your honoree’s name will be listed under the Camp and Academy Memorial Scholarship heading in our Annual Report for the year in which you made your gift. Your name will be listed as a donor if your gift is equal to or greater than $1,000.

Another option for recognizing a special person is to establish a named annual scholarship or an endowed scholarship in their honor or memory.
